A PROVEN WAY TO ATTRACT MORE CUSTOMERS

We’d all like more customers. It means more business, more money, then we could buy a boat and sail off into the sunset… wait a minute, focus on writing the blog, Julie. Focus!

And that’s exactly what you need to do to attract more customers; focus. Focus on a very specific part of your target audience: a niche. Don’t get distracted by trying to make your product appeal to everyone, whether they’re 8 or 80, man, woman or animal. To attract new customers, you need to focus on one particular type of new customer.

Why? Well, if you know who they are – their age, their gender, what online platforms they are most active on and what time of day – then you’ll know how to use your social media marketing to attract them.

For example: if you’re a woman who’s just had an argument with her husband and is thinking about a divorce, would a post targeting this specific issue grab your interest? Most certainly.

How about if the ad was a general post for a law firm which reeled off a long list of services, one of which was divorce lawyer? It would likely get missed in the clutter.

That’s the key – we need to enter the conversation going on in the mind of our prospective customer. So, if you want to attract more customers, focus your social media marketing on a particular type of customer and create posts and ads specifically with them in mind.
